This site is primarily for members of the association of cottage
and home owners at Bay Lake, located just north of Huntsville, Ontario.

Association Activities and Events

Our next event is our Annual General Meeting.
Sunday, August 8, 2010 starting at 9am at the Clear Lake/Bay Lake Hall.

New members are always welcome. At the AGM you can:

  • Have your say about the business of the BLPOA.
  • Hear special presentations about issues that affect our lake.
  • Meet the new Executive members - or become one!
  • Hear from The Mayor of Perry Township – he’s usually there to speak and answer questions.
  • Pay your membership dues and/or buy a Bay Lake shirt or hat.
  • Win door prizes!
  • Join the Clear Lake/Bay Lake Hall Association.
  • Enjoy coffee and TimBits in abundance….

 

 

Here's a summary of last year's events:

The Annual Corn Roast happened on September 27. In spite of some rain, a good time was had by all. Close to 100 people came out to enjoy the corn, sausages and bonfire.

TheAnnual General Meeting was full of surprises. There was a presentation by Paul Wiancko of the Six Mile Lake Association about their activites, a chance to discuss new business, and Mayor Bill Core spoke. Fun Day was another great event! The rain held off, the food was delicious and a good time was had by all!

Pitch-In Day was a huge success for the Lake. Loyal volunteers collected an entire trailer load of litter and debris!

Bay Lake shirts, sweats and hoodies available. Now in COLOURS! And hats are coming.

You can now purchase "Bay Lake Wear": t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, now in various colours, with "Bay Lake" on the chest with the "2 loon logo". Prices vary from $20 - $40 and they're available at most BLPOA events. A portion of the purchase price goes to our Fish Fund.

On The Living Edge ...

is a handbook for living on the water. It contains all sorts of vital info about how to be your waterfront's best friend, and it's FREE when you pay for membership in the BLPOA.
